Dear Sophie,

Thirty! Somewhere between the girl who blew out five candles in her mum’s kitchen and the woman who runs half of Vancouver’s best rooftop parties, you became our favourite person.

You are the friend who remembers everyone’s coffee order, who turns up with soup when we are sick and who laughs louder than anyone at her own jokes.

This year we wish you adventures that scare you a little, rest that restores you a lot, and a decade even more golden than the last.
